Bio: Nathan Hartono (向洋) is a multi-hyphenate; a Singaporean singer-songwriter-actor who simply cannot be pigeon-holed. Since winning a singing competition over a decade ago, he has gone on to release three albums, star in a feature film and perform on hundreds of stages around the world. In 2016, his popularity further propelled when he became the first Singaporean to make it to the finals of Chinese singing competition, Sing! China. Under the mentorship of Mando-pop star Jay Chou, his soulful performances captivated the hearts of audiences across Asia and beyond. Since his rise in popularity, Nathan has been nominated as ‘Most Popular Overseas Singer’ at the 2017 MTV Global Chinese Music Awards, featured in Prestige Singapore's ‘2018 Prestige 40 Under 40’, named a Brand Personality for the Singapore Tourism Board, represented Singapore as its theme song performer for National Day Parade 2020, on top of a multitude of successful partnerships with global brands such as Amazon and Disney. As a bilingual artist, Nathan made his Warner Music China major label debut with a string of single releases, culminating in the debut Mandarin EP, 什么都不做的一天 in September 2020. A summer EP that brings forth the easy-breezy, carefree summer vibes, 什麼都不做的一天 showcases a perfect blend of R&B/acoustic/funk that Nathan is well-versed in. Come February 19, 2021, Nathan will be releasing his brand-new English single, I'm Fine, taken from his forthcoming EP, slated for late 2021.
